From San Francisco

The closest MUNI lines are the 29 Sunset and the 14 Mission. The 52 Excelsior and 54 Felton are neighborhood routes that also go close by. If you are coming from downtown or the Castro, take the MUNI Metro K, L, or M lines to Balboa Park station and take the outbound 29 Sunset (going towards the Caltrain Station).

From South Bay and the Peninsula

Take Caltrain north towards San Francisco. Transfer to the inbound 29 Sunset (going towards the Balboa Park station) at the Paul Avenue Caltrain station. Not all Caltrains stop at Paul Avenue -- check your schedule carefully! Otherwise, take Caltrain to the Downtown (4th & King) station and take the 15 Third St to Paul Avenue Caltrain station, then transfer to the 29 Sunset.

From East Bay

Take BART to Balboa Park station and transfer to the outbound 29 Sunset.
